Light Wall System est une interface où l’interprète produit des sons grâce aux déplacements de son corps à travers un faisceau lumineux. Le dispositif est véritablement un mur de lumière qui fonctionne comme un instrument dont on doit s’approprier la contrainte : moduler un son dans l’espace et pouvoir l’arrêter. Il s’agit avant tout de jouer, au sens propre du terme, de façon intuitive et innée dans la lumière. Jouer des sons comme l’on pourrait peindre sur une toile avec ses mains. Autour de cette innovation technologique mise à disposition des élèves par l'intervenant Siegfried Courteau, le Conservatoire propose un spectacle mêlant musique contemporaine (pièces de Steve Reich, Louis Andriessen, Thierry de Mey), musique improvisée, danse chorégraphiée et improvisée, créations électro-acoustiques. Light Wall System is an interface where the performer produces sound by moving his or her body through a beam of light. The device is truly a wall of light that functions like an instrument whose constraints you have to master: modulate a sound in space and be able to stop it. Light Wall System ist ein Interface, bei dem der Performer Klänge durch die Bewegung seines Körpers durch einen Lichtstrahl erzeugt. Das System ist eine Lichtwand, die wie ein Instrument funktioniert, dessen Beschränkungen man sich aneignen muss: einen Klang im Raum zu modulieren und ihn stoppen zu können. Es geht vor allem darum, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes auf intuitive und angeborene Weise mit dem Licht zu spielen. Klänge zu spielen, wie man mit den Händen auf einer Leinwand malen könnte. Rund um diese technologische Innovation, die der Referent Siegfried Courteau den Schülern zur Verfügung stellt, bietet das Konservatorium eine Aufführung, die zeitgenössische Musik (Stücke von Steve Reich, Louis Andriessen, Thierry de Mey), improvisierte Musik, choreografierten und improvisierten Tanz sowie elektroakustische Kreationen vereint. Für jedes Publikum geeignet Freier Eintritt.

Light Wall System is een interface waarbij de performer geluiden produceert door zijn of haar lichaam door een lichtstraal te bewegen. Het apparaat is eigenlijk een muur van licht die functioneert als een instrument waarvan je de beperkingen moet beheersen: een geluid in de ruimte moduleren en het kunnen stoppen. Het gaat allemaal om het spelen, in de waarste zin van het woord, intuïtief en aangeboren met licht. Spelen met geluid alsof je met je handen op canvas schildert. Rondom deze technologische innovatie, die door Siegfried Courteau aan de studenten ter beschikking is gesteld, biedt het Conservatorium een show waarin hedendaagse muziek (stukken van Steve Reich, Louis Andriessen, Thierry de Mey), geïmproviseerde muziek, gechoreografeerde en geïmproviseerde dans en elektro-akoestische creaties worden gecombineerd. El dispositivo es en realidad un muro de luz que funciona como un instrumento cuyas limitaciones hay que dominar: modular un sonido en el espacio y ser capaz de detenerlo. Se trata de jugar, en el verdadero sentido de la palabra, de forma intuitiva e innata con la luz. Jugar con el sonido como si pintáramos sobre un lienzo con las manos. En torno a esta innovación tecnológica, puesta a disposición de los alumnos por Siegfried Courteau, el Conservatorio propone un espectáculo que combina música contemporánea (piezas de Steve Reich, Louis Andriessen, Thierry de Mey), música improvisada, danza coreografiada e improvisada y creaciones electroacústicas. Light Wall System è un'interfaccia in cui il performer produce suoni muovendo il proprio corpo attraverso un fascio di luce. Il dispositivo è di fatto un muro di luce che funziona come uno strumento di cui bisogna padroneggiare i vincoli: modulare un suono nello spazio ed essere in grado di fermarlo. Si tratta di giocare, nel vero senso della parola, in modo intuitivo e innato con la luce. Giocare con il suono come se si dipingesse sulla tela con le mani. Intorno a questa innovazione tecnologica, messa a disposizione degli studenti da Siegfried Courteau, il Conservatorio propone uno spettacolo che unisce musica contemporanea (brani di Steve Reich, Louis Andriessen e Thierry de Mey), musica improvvisata, danza coreografata e improvvisata e creazioni elettroacustiche.
