For over forty years, the Big Band Côte Sud has pursued an uninterrupted adventure of sharing and discovering the most significant currents in jazz. On its own or with major figures on the national and international scene, it frequently favors long cycles devoted to the study of a particular style or work. The orchestra is currently focusing on the compositions and arrangements of the great Quincy Jones, specially adapted for the Big Band Côte Sud by talented trumpeter and musical director Pascal Drapeau in a jubilant: Quincy Jones Swing Project!

Die Big Band Côte Sud verfolgt seit über vierzig Jahren ein ununterbrochenes Abenteuer des Teilens und Entdeckens der bedeutendsten Strömungen des Jazz. Allein oder zusammen mit den wichtigsten Figuren der nationalen und internationalen Szene bevorzugt sie häufig lange Zyklen, die der Vertiefung eines Stils oder eines Werkes gewidmet sind. Der talentierte Trompeter und musikalische Leiter Pascal Drapeau hat das Werk speziell für die Big Band Côte Sud bearbeitet und daraus das Quincy Jones Swing Project gemacht
