Chemin d'Art Sacré en Alsace -Exposition Memento mori – 30-05-2025 – Feldbach

Le Chemin d’art sacré est né d’une intuition formidable : réaliser des expositions d’art contemporain dans certaines églises remarquables d’Alsace, du Haut et du Bas -Rhin avec des artistes qui créent pour le lieu comme prétextes supplémentaires à visiter nos églises. Ces artistes sont accompagnés dans leur projet par la personne, responsable du Chemin d’art sacré, aujourd’hui Laurence Levard. Deux années sont souvent nécessaires à cette préparation. Il s’agit d’un cheminement spirituel et artistique qui est proposé au visiteur par l’artiste avec un thème donné comme fil conducteur, appuyé par une citation biblique. Depuis plus de 27 ans, près de 100 000 touristes suivent cette kyrielle d’expositions avec intérêt, qu’ils soient alsaciens, touristes français ou étrangers, notamment des allemands qui s’enthousiasment pour ce parcours. L'exposition – Marie-Claire Boulay (peinture) « Memento mori » « Il y a un moment pour tout et un temps pour chaque chose sous le ciel : un temps pour naître et un temps pour mourir, un temps pour planter et un temps pour arracher le plant… un temps pour déchirer et un temps pour coudre. » (Eccl. 3, 1-8) Dans sa quête de la compréhension de l’être humain, elle a cherché ce qui nous unit tous, malgré nos différences, au-delà des apparences. Elle a fait sienne la devise de Marina Tsvetaëva (poétesse russe 1892-1941) « ma tâche est d’arracher tous les masques, même si la peau doit venir avec ». Reste l’os, le crâne. Vanité des vanités, tout est vanité. Plus récemment, peut-être pour apporter de la légèreté à son travail artistique, elle a commencé à récolter des végétaux, surtout ceux qu’on foule au pied le long des chemins, qu’on piétine, qu’on ne regarde pas. Elle a cherché à les révéler, les magnifier, sous forme de monotypes. Après réflexion, cela lui a évoqué une tentative pour rendre une dignité aux laissés pour compte. Quand Laurence lui a proposé pour cette exposition d’associer crânes et végétaux, cela a été pour elle une évidence, mais aussi un véritable chalenge. Elle a essayé de trouver l’équilibre juste entre ces deux mondes qui se côtoient naturellement dans la nature : la mort et le foisonnement de la vie.

The Chemin d?art sacré was born of a formidable intuition: to stage contemporary art exhibitions in some of Alsace?s outstanding churches, in the Haut and Bas-Rhin regions, with artists who create for the site as additional pretexts for visiting our churches. These artists are supported in their projects by the person in charge of the Chemin d?art sacré, now Laurence Levard. This often takes two years to prepare. It's a spiritual and artistic journey that is proposed to the visitor by the artist, with a given theme as a guiding thread, supported by a biblical quotation. For more than 27 years, almost 100,000 tourists have followed this series of exhibitions with interest, whether they be Alsatians, French tourists or foreigners, especially Germans, who are enthusiastic about this route. When Laurence suggested combining skulls and plants for this exhibition, it was an obvious choice, but also a real challenge. She tried to find the right balance between the two worlds that naturally exist side by side in nature: death and the abundance of life.

Der Chemin d'art sacré entstand aus einer großartigen Intuition heraus: in einigen bemerkenswerten Kirchen im Elsass, am Ober- und Niederrhein zeitgenössische Kunstausstellungen mit Künstlern zu realisieren, die für den Ort als zusätzlichen Vorwand für den Besuch unserer Kirchen schaffen. Diese Künstler werden bei ihrem Projekt von der Person begleitet, die für den Chemin d'art sacré verantwortlich ist, heute Laurence Levard. Für diese Vorbereitung werden oft zwei Jahre benötigt. Es handelt sich um einen spirituellen und künstlerischen Weg, den der Künstler dem Besucher vorschlägt. Seit mehr als 27 Jahren verfolgen fast 100.000 Touristen mit Interesse diese Ausstellungskyrie, seien es Elsässer, französische Touristen oder Ausländer, insbesondere Deutsche, die sich für diesen Weg begeistern. Die Ausstellung – Marie-Claire Boulay (Malerei) "Memento mori" (Erinnerung) "Es gibt eine Zeit für alles und eine Zeit für jedes Ding unter dem Himmel eine Zeit zum Geborenwerden und eine Zeit zum Sterben, eine Zeit zum eine Zeit zum Pflanzen und eine Zeit zum Ausreißen des Pflänzchens? eine Zeit zum Reißen und eine Zeit zum Nähen." (Eccl. 3, 1-8) In ihrem Bestreben, den Menschen zu verstehen, suchte sie nach dem, was uns alle trotz unserer Unterschiede und jenseits des Augenscheinlichen vereint. Sie machte sich das Motto von Marina Tsvetaëva (russische Dichterin, 1892-1941) zu eigen: "Meine Aufgabe ist es, alle Masken abzureißen, auch wenn die Haut mitkommt". Was bleibt, ist der Knochen, der Schädel. Eitelkeit der Eitelkeiten, alles ist eitel. In jüngerer Zeit, vielleicht um ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit mehr Leichtigkeit zu verleihen, hat sie begonnen, Pflanzen zu sammeln, vor allem solche, die man auf den Wegen zertrampelt, die man zertritt, die man nicht beachtet. Sie versuchte, sie in Form von Monotypien zu enthüllen und zu vergrößern. Nach einigem Nachdenken erinnerte sie das an einen Versuch, den Verlassenen ihre Würde zurückzugeben. Als Laurence ihr für diese Ausstellung vorschlug, Schädel und Pflanzen zu kombinieren, war das für sie eine Selbstverständlichkeit, aber auch eine echte Herausforderung. Sie versuchte, die richtige Balance zwischen den beiden Welten zu finden, die in der Natur ganz natürlich nebeneinander existieren: dem Tod und der Fülle des Lebens.

De Chemin d'art sacré is ontstaan uit een prachtig idee: tentoonstellingen van hedendaagse kunst organiseren in enkele van de meest opmerkelijke kerken in de Elzas, de Haut en de Bas-Rhin, met kunstenaars die ter plaatse creëren als extra reden om onze kerken te bezoeken. Deze kunstenaars worden in hun projecten gesteund door de verantwoordelijke van de Chemin d'art sacré, nu Laurence Levard. Deze voorbereiding duurt vaak twee jaar. Het is een spirituele en artistieke reis die door de kunstenaar aan de bezoeker wordt voorgesteld, met een thema als leidraad, ondersteund door een bijbels citaat. Al meer dan 27 jaar volgen bijna 100.000 toeristen met belangstelling deze reeks tentoonstellingen, of het nu gaat om Elzassers, Franse toeristen of buitenlanders, vooral Duitsers, die enthousiast zijn over deze route. Toen Laurence voorstelde om schedels en planten te combineren voor deze tentoonstelling, was dat een voor de hand liggende keuze voor haar, maar ook een echte uitdaging. Ze probeerde de juiste balans te vinden tussen de twee werelden die van nature naast elkaar bestaan in de natuur: de dood en de overvloed van leven.

Estos artistas cuentan con el apoyo en sus proyectos de la responsable del Chemin d'art sacré, actualmente Laurence Levard. Esta preparación suele durar dos años. Se trata de un viaje espiritual y artístico que el artista propone al visitante, con un tema dado como guía, apoyado por una cita bíblica. Desde hace más de 27 años, casi 100.000 turistas siguen con interés esta serie de exposiciones, ya sean alsacianos, turistas franceses o extranjeros, sobre todo alemanes, que se entusiasman con este recorrido. Cuando Laurence le propuso combinar cráneos y plantas para esta exposición, le pareció una elección obvia, pero también un verdadero reto. Intentó encontrar el equilibrio adecuado entre los dos mundos que coexisten de forma natural en la naturaleza: la muerte y la abundancia de vida.

Lo Chemin d'art sacré (Sentiero dell'arte sacra) è nato da un'idea meravigliosa: organizzare mostre d'arte contemporanea in alcune delle chiese più notevoli dell'Alsazia, dell'Haut e del Bas-Rhin, con artisti che creano per il luogo come motivo in più per visitare le nostre chiese. Questi artisti sono sostenuti nei loro progetti dalla responsabile dello Chemin d'art sacré, oggi Laurence Levard. Questa preparazione richiede spesso due anni. Quando Laurence ha suggerito di combinare teschi e piante per questa mostra, per lei è stata una scelta ovvia, ma anche una vera sfida. Ha cercato di trovare il giusto equilibrio tra i due mondi che naturalmente esistono fianco a fianco in natura: la morte e l'abbondanza della vita.
