Pour ce nouveau spectacle de Birds on a Wire, Rosemary Standley et Dom La Nena ont choisi d’entrelacer leur univers à celui d’Étienne Saglio. Le duo se posera quelque part au cœur d’une forêt profonde. Au milieu d’une clairière, auprès d’un arbre, pour nous faire découvrir les morceaux de son nouveau spectacle. Grimm ne sera parfois pas très loin, y compris lorsqu’il s’agira de redonner vie à des chansons de Bob Dylan, Tom Waits ou Jacques Brel. Un rai de lumière – rayon de Lune ou de Soleil qui pointe à travers les feuillages. Des bruissements d’aile, une apparition, un oiseau de nuit, d’autres créatures, des feuilles qui virevoltent, un feu qui réchauffe. Des voix parleront au loin, un chant dans la forêt leur répondra…

For this new Birds on a Wire show, Rosemary Standley and Dom La Nena have chosen to interweave their universe with that of Étienne Saglio. The duo will land somewhere in the heart of a deep forest. In the middle of a clearing, next to a tree, to introduce us to the songs from their new show. Grimm will not be far away at times, even when it comes to breathing new life into songs by Bob Dylan, Tom Waits or Jacques Brel. A ray of light? moonbeam or sunbeam peeking through the foliage. The rustle of wings, an apparition, a night bird, other creatures, twirling leaves, a warming fire. Voices will speak in the distance, answered by a song in the forest?

Für diese neue Show von Birds on a Wire haben Rosemary Standley und Dom La Nena beschlossen, ihre Welt mit der von Étienne Saglio zu verflechten. Das Duo wird sich irgendwo im Herzen eines tiefen Waldes niederlassen. In der Mitte einer Lichtung, bei einem Baum, um uns die Stücke seiner neuen Show zu präsentieren. Het duo landt ergens in het hart van een diep bos. Midden op een open plek, naast een boom, om ons de liedjes uit hun nieuwe show te laten horen. Soms is Grimm niet ver weg, zelfs als het erom gaat nummers van Bob Dylan, Tom Waits of Jacques Brel nieuw leven in te blazen. Een lichtstraal? Een maan- of zonnestraal die door het gebladerte schijnt. Het ritselen van vleugels, een verschijning, een nachtvogel, andere wezens, wervelende bladeren, een warm vuur. Stemmen zullen spreken in de verte, een lied in het bos zal hen beantwoorden?
