[ ANNULÉ POUR 2025 ] Le Marché sur l'eau fait revivre une tradition, celle de l'activité maraîchère du 19ème siècle à Amiens… Une fois par an, le marché sur l'eau se déroule comme autrefois. Les hortillons (maraîchers des hortillonnages), en costume traditionnel, descendent la Somme dans les barques à cornet chargées de légumes, de fruits rouges et de fleurs jusqu'à la place Parmentier. Ils accostent sur le quai, installent leurs étals ; le marché peut alors commencer. Ce marché, haut en couleurs, retrace, avec ses senteurs et ses coutumes, la tradition ancestrale des produits authentiques des hortillonnages.

[ CANCELLED FOR 2025 ] The Marché sur l'eau revives the tradition of 19th-century market gardening in Amiens… Once a year, the market on the water takes place as it did in the past. The hortillons (market gardeners from the hortillonnages), dressed in traditional costume, float down the Somme in cornet boats loaded with vegetables, berries and flowers to the Place Parmentier. They dock on the quay, set up their stalls and the market can begin. This colorful market, with its scents and customs, retraces the ancestral tradition of authentic produce from the hortillonnages.

[ GESTRICHEN FÜR 2025 ] Der Markt auf dem Wasser lässt eine Tradition wieder aufleben, nämlich die des Gemüseanbaus im 19. Jahrhundert in Amiens… Einmal im Jahr findet der Marché sur l'eau (Markt auf dem Wasser) wie früher statt. Die Hortillons (Gemüsebauern der Hortillonnages) fahren in ihren traditionellen Kostümen in den mit Gemüse, roten Früchten und Blumen beladenen Hornbooten die Somme hinunter bis zum Place Parmentier. Sie legen am Kai an und bauen ihre Stände auf; dann kann der Markt beginnen. Dieser farbenfrohe Markt zeichnet mit seinen Düften und Bräuchen die althergebrachte Tradition der authentischen Produkte der Hortillonnages nach.

De hortillons (tuinders van de hortillonnages), gekleed in traditionele klederdracht, varen de Somme af in hoornboten volgeladen met groenten, rood fruit en bloemen naar de Place Parmentier. Ze meren aan op de kade, zetten hun kraampjes op en de markt kan beginnen. Deze kleurrijke markt, met zijn geuren en gebruiken, brengt de voorouderlijke traditie van authentieke producten uit de hortillonnages terug.

Atracan en el muelle, montan sus puestos y el mercado puede comenzar. Este colorido mercado, con sus olores y costumbres, recupera la tradición ancestral de los productos auténticos de los hortillonnages.

Gli hortillons (ortolani degli hortillonnages), vestiti in costume tradizionale, navigano lungo la Somme su barche a tromba cariche di verdure, frutti rossi e fiori fino a Place Parmentier. Attraccano sulla banchina, allestiscono le loro bancarelle e il mercato può iniziare.
