43e édition du Festival du Septembre Musical de l'Orne – 05-09-2025 – Alençon

Le Septembre musical de l’Orne revient du 5 au 28 septembre 2025 avec un programme aux multiples couleurs et de nombreuses découvertes. Philippe Jaroussky, Jean-François Zygel, Rhoda Scott… Des pointures de renommée internationale enchanteront ce festival pour cette 43ème édition. Une programmation éclectique ou se mêlent musique baroque, jazz, polyphonie corse, ou encore une revisite du Petit Prince, sans oublier les classiques Mozart, Ravel, Piazzolla, Chostakovitch… A très vite ! 1983-2022: Discoveries, Friendship, Conviviality: Let's celebrate the 40th anniversary of the festival! New guests of the festival, the Matheus ensemble of Jean-Christophe Spinosi opens this season with an artistic joust Handel-Vivaldi in the basilica of Alençon while the Correspondances ensemble of Sébastien Daucé honors Charpentier and his famous Te Deum in the cathedral of Sées. This year also marks the return of opera with the Carmélites de Compiègne, a brand new chamber version of Poulenc's masterpiece. And the Paul Lay trio will take us across the Atlantic with their interpretation of American popular music. This fortieth edition is also the occasion to meet again artists who are our faithful friends since the first steps of the festival in 1983. Renaud Capuçon, Henri Demarquette and the Orchestre National de Bretagne will perform Brahms' double concerto and Menselssohn's Symphony No. 4 "Italian". Bruno Rigutto returns to perform the complete famous Nocturnes of Chopin before we discover his son Paulo with Sophie Wallez in a program evocative of the vinteuil's salon dear to Marcel Proust. Philippe Bernold and his students will allow us to evoke the memory of Jean-Pierre Rampal around the flute. The regional orchestra of Normandy and its conductor Jean Deroyer will present a program dedicated to German romanticism and Nielsen and finally the Schola de l'Orne will honor the British composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. After two seasons marked by the successive pandemics of covid and the sanitary constraints, the festival wishes to regain the conviviality which is its trademark and which we have missed so much. We hope, at the end of each concert, to rediscover the pleasure of meeting and sharing a glass of friendship in each of the communes that agree to welcome us. The festival team

Il Settembre musicale dell'Orne torna dal 5 al 28 settembre 2025 con un programma variopinto e una serie di nuove scoperte. Philippe Jaroussky, Jean-François Zygel, Rhoda Scott… Star di fama internazionale incanteranno il festival per la sua 43a edizione. Il programma eclettico comprende musica barocca, jazz, polifonia corsa e un revival de Il Piccolo Principe, senza dimenticare classici come Mozart, Ravel, Piazzolla e Shostakovich. A presto!
