À l’occasion des 1400 ans de l’Abbaye de Saint-Riquier, fondée en 625, le Centre culturel départemental propose une exposition inédite autour de l’un des plus grands centres religieux, culturel et intellectuel du Nord de la France. Au fil d’un parcours riche d’environ 200 œuvres issues des collections publiques du Département de la Somme et avec le concours exceptionnel de la Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, le visiteur est invité à parcourir l’histoire millénaire de ce joyau du patrimoine architectural de la Somme qui a connu bien des vicissitudes. Sculptures, pièces d’orfèvrerie, documents graphiques et photographies sont rassemblées pour la première fois, retraçant le destin mouvementé de l’Abbaye, de son âge d'or à l’époque carolingienne et au XVIIe siècle jusqu’à sa transformation en séminaire au XIXe siècle. Les collections de l’Historial de la Grande Guerre de Péronne permettront d’illustrer son passé d’hôpital militaire pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Le parcours s’achève par une vision contemporaine de l’Abbaye, célébrant particulièrement le 40ème anniversaire du Festival qu’elle accueille depuis 1985. To mark the 1400th anniversary of the Abbey of Saint-Riquier, founded in 625, the Centre Culturel Départemental is staging a unique exhibition on one of Northern France?s greatest religious, cultural and intellectual centers. Along a richly illustrated trail of some 200 works from the public collections of the Somme département, and with the exceptional support of the Cité de l?Architecture et du Patrimoine, visitors are invited to explore the thousand-year history of this jewel of the Somme?s architectural heritage, which has seen many vicissitudes. Sculptures, goldsmith?s and silversmith?s pieces, graphic documents and photographs are brought together for the first time, tracing the turbulent destiny of the Abbey, from its golden age in Carolingian times and the 17th century, to its transformation into a seminary in the 19th century. The collections of the Historial de la Grande Guerre in Péronne illustrate the Abbey?s past as a military hospital during the First World War. The tour concludes with a contemporary vision of the Abbey, celebrating in particular the 40th anniversary of the Festival it has hosted since 1985. Anlässlich des 1400-jährigen Jubiläums der Abtei Saint-Riquier, die im Jahr 625 gegründet wurde, zeigt das Kulturzentrum des Departements eine einzigartige Ausstellung über eines der größten religiösen, kulturellen und intellektuellen Zentren Nordfrankreichs. Auf einem Rundgang mit etwa 200 Werken aus den öffentlichen Sammlungen des Departements Somme und mit der außergewöhnlichen Unterstützung der Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (Stadt der Architektur und des Kulturerbes) wird der Besucher eingeladen, die tausendjährige Geschichte dieses Juwels des architektonischen Erbes der Somme zu durchlaufen, das viele Wechselfälle erlebt hat. Skulpturen, Goldschmiedearbeiten, grafische Dokumente und Fotografien werden zum ersten Mal zusammengestellt und zeichnen das bewegte Schicksal der Abtei nach, von ihrem goldenen Zeitalter in der Karolingerzeit und im 17. Jahrhundert bis hin zu ihrer Umwandlung in ein Seminar im 19. Anhand der Sammlungen des Historial de la Grande Guerre in Péronne wird seine Vergangenheit als Militärkrankenhaus während des Ersten Weltkriegs veranschaulicht. Der Rundgang endet mit einer zeitgenössischen Betrachtung der Abtei, die insbesondere das 40-jährige Jubiläum des Festivals feiert, das seit 1985 in der Abtei stattfindet. Naar aanleiding van de 1400ste verjaardag van de abdij van Saint-Riquier, gesticht in 625 na Christus, organiseert het Centre Culturel Départemental een unieke tentoonstelling over een van de grootste religieuze, culturele en intellectuele centra van Noord-Frankrijk. Bezoekers worden uitgenodigd om de duizendjarige geschiedenis van dit juweel van het architecturale erfgoed van de Somme te ontdekken, dat vele wisselvalligheden heeft gekend, door een parcours te volgen van ongeveer 200 werken uit de openbare collecties van het Département de la Somme en met de uitzonderlijke steun van de Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. Beeldhouwwerken, goud- en zilversmeedwerken, grafische documenten en foto's worden voor het eerst samengebracht en schetsen het turbulente lot van de abdij, van haar gouden tijd in de Karolingische tijd en de 17e eeuw tot haar transformatie in een seminarie in de 19e eeuw. Con motivo del 1400 aniversario de la abadía de Saint-Riquier, fundada en el año 625 d.C., el Centre Culturel Départemental organiza una exposición única sobre uno de los mayores centros religiosos, culturales e intelectuales del norte de Francia. Se invita a los visitantes a explorar la historia milenaria de esta joya del patrimonio arquitectónico del Somme, que ha conocido numerosas vicisitudes, siguiendo el rastro de unas 200 obras procedentes de las colecciones públicas del Département de la Somme y con el apoyo excepcional de la Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. Esculturas, piezas de orfebrería y platería, documentos gráficos y fotografías se reúnen por primera vez para trazar el turbulento destino de la Abadía, desde su época dorada en la época carolingia y el siglo XVII hasta su transformación en seminario en el siglo XIX. Las colecciones del Historial de la Grande Guerre de Péronne ayudarán a ilustrar su pasado como hospital militar durante la Primera Guerra Mundial. In occasione del 1.400° anniversario dell'Abbazia di Saint-Riquier, fondata nel 625 d.C., il Centre Culturel Départemental organizza una mostra unica su uno dei più grandi centri religiosi, culturali e intellettuali della Francia settentrionale. I visitatori sono invitati a scoprire la storia millenaria di questo gioiello del patrimonio architettonico della Somme, che ha conosciuto molte vicissitudini, seguendo un percorso di circa 200 opere provenienti dalle collezioni pubbliche del Département de la Somme e con il sostegno eccezionale della Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. Sculture, pezzi di oreficeria e argenteria, documenti grafici e fotografie sono riuniti per la prima volta e ripercorrono il turbolento destino dell'Abbazia, dall'epoca d'oro carolingia e dal XVII secolo alla trasformazione in seminario nel XIX secolo. Le collezioni dell'Historial de la Grande Guerre di Péronne contribuiranno a illustrare il suo passato di ospedale militare durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale.
