Florence and Philippe Ménard cultivate an 8-hectare orchard of organic chestnut trees in Parcoul and La Roche-Chalais, and offer a range of products derived from chestnuts: chestnut cream, marrons au naturel, chestnut purée and flour. From planting to production, they talk about their work as castaneiculturists: nursery, young plantation, pruning, grafting, harvesting… Then it's time to taste the cream and flour. Von der Pflanzung bis zur Produktion erzählen sie von ihrem Beruf als Kastanienbauern: Baumschule, Jungpflanzung, Beschneiden, Pfropfen, Ernte… Dann kommt die Zeit der Verkostung, Creme und Mehl. Verkauf jeden Samstagmorgen im Laden, der sich in Saint-Aigulin befindet, und nach Vereinbarung unter der Woche.

Van aanplant tot productie vertellen ze over hun werk als kastanjetelers: kwekerij, jonge aanplant, snoeien, enten, oogsten, etc. Daarna is het tijd om de room en het meel te proeven.
