Une boue ocre qui colore un sillon de lande bretonne : un filon d’argile. Une véritable découverte lorsque l’on est enfant. L’incroyable approche d’une matière inconnue, sans outils. Une tentative de cuisson directement au contact du feu. Recommencer, autrement, plus tard. L’argile s’installa en moi, pour toujours. Elle attendit patiemment un moment plus favorable de ma vie pour à nouveau me faire signe. En 2007, je crée l’atelier en Alsace. Un émail mat nuancé, des cuissons multiples suivies d’un enfumage contrôlé, revêtent l’argile de grès de couleur d’ardoise, de couleurs d’eaux stagnantes, d’ocre et de mousses. Parfois, je combine aussi l’argile de grès et la porcelaine. L’un sert de support pour accueillir le blanc poudreux de l’autre. Tranquillement, l’acier et le bronze ont pris leur place. Mes créations explorent deux domaines : Un travail de sculpture, figuratif, composé de sujets mettant en scène le corps humain au travers duquel je tente d’exprimer une forme d’intériorité. J'ai voulu montrer ces personnes en recherche, en joie, provisoirement détachées du monde et de ses contingences. Un travail mural en noir et blanc sur le thème de l’horizon.

An ochre mud which colours a furrow of the Breton moor: a vein of clay. A real discovery as a child. The incredible approach of an unknown material, without tools. An attempt at firing directly in contact with fire. To start again, otherwise, later. The clay settled in me, forever. It waited patiently for a better time in my life to beckon me again. In 2007, I created the workshop in Alsace. A nuanced matte glaze, multiple firings followed by controlled smoking, coat the stoneware clay with slate, stagnant water colours, ochre and moss. Sometimes I also combine stoneware and porcelain. One is used as a support for the powdery white of the other. Slowly, steel and bronze took their place. My creations explore two areas: A work of sculpture, figurative, composed of subjects depicting the human body through which I try to express a form of interiority. I wanted to show these people in search, in joy, temporarily detached from the world and its contingencies. A black and white mural work on the theme of the horizon.

Ein ockerfarbener Schlamm, der eine Furche im bretonischen Moor färbt: eine Tonerdeader. Eine echte Entdeckung, wenn man ein Kind ist. Die unglaubliche Annäherung an ein unbekanntes Material, ohne Werkzeuge. Ein Versuch, direkt im Kontakt mit dem Feuer zu brennen. Wiederholen, anders, später. Der Ton setzte sich in mir fest, für immer. Er wartete geduldig auf einen günstigeren Moment in meinem Leben, um mir erneut zuzuwinken. Im Jahr 2007 gründete ich das Atelier im Elsass. Eine nuancierte matte Glasur, mehrmaliges Brennen und kontrolliertes Räuchern kleiden den Sandsteinton in Schieferfarben, in die Farben von stehenden Gewässern, Ocker und Moos. Manchmal kombiniere ich auch Steingutton und Porzellan. Das eine dient als Trägermaterial, um das pulverige Weiß des anderen aufzunehmen. Langsam nehmen auch Stahl und Bronze ihren Platz ein. Meine Kreationen erforschen zwei Bereiche: Eine bildhauerische, figurative Arbeit, die aus Themen besteht, die den menschlichen Körper in Szene setzen, durch den ich versuche, eine Form der Innerlichkeit auszudrücken. Ich wollte diese Menschen auf der Suche, in Freude, vorübergehend losgelöst von der Welt und ihren Kontingenzen zeigen. Eine Wandarbeit in Schwarz-Weiß zum Thema Horizont.

Een okerachtige modder die een groef in het Bretonse veen kleurt: een kleiader. Een echte ontdekking als je een kind bent. De ongelooflijke benadering van een onbekend materiaal, zonder gereedschap. Een poging om direct in contact met het vuur te bakken. Om later anders te beginnen. De klei vestigde zich in mij, voor altijd. Het wachtte geduldig op een gunstiger moment in mijn leven om me weer te lokken. In 2007 creëerde ik de workshop in de Elzas. Een genuanceerd mat glazuur, meerdere brandingen gevolgd door gecontroleerd roken, bedekken de steengoedklei met leisteenkleuren, kleuren van stilstaand water, oker en mos. Soms combineer ik ook steengoedklei en porselein. De ene dient als steun voor het poederachtige wit van de andere. Langzaam hebben staal en brons hun plaats ingenomen. Mijn creaties verkennen twee gebieden: Een sculpturaal werk, figuratief, samengesteld uit onderwerpen die het menselijk lichaam ensceneren en waarmee ik een vorm van innerlijkheid probeer uit te drukken. Ik wilde deze mensen laten zien, op zoek, in vreugde, tijdelijk los van de wereld en haar onvoorziene omstandigheden. Een zwart-wit muurschildering met als thema de horizon.

Un barro ocre que colorea un surco en el páramo bretón: un filón de arcilla. Todo un descubrimiento cuando se es niño. El increíble acercamiento a un material desconocido, sin herramientas. Un intento de hornear directamente en contacto con el fuego. Para empezar de nuevo, de forma diferente, más adelante. La arcilla se instaló en mí, para siempre. Esperó pacientemente a que un momento más favorable de mi vida me llamara de nuevo. En 2007, creé el taller de Alsacia. Un esmalte mate matizado, múltiples cocciones seguidas de un ahumado controlado, recubren la arcilla de gres con colores de pizarra, colores de agua estancada, ocre y musgo. A veces también combino arcilla de gres y porcelana. Uno de ellos sirve de soporte para el blanco empolvado del otro. Poco a poco, el acero y el bronce han ocupado su lugar. Mis creaciones exploran dos áreas: Una obra escultórica, figurativa, compuesta por sujetos que escenifican el cuerpo humano a través de los cuales intento expresar una forma de interioridad. Quería mostrar a estas personas en búsqueda, en alegría, temporalmente desvinculadas del mundo y sus contingencias. Una obra mural en blanco y negro sobre el tema del horizonte.

Un tentativo di cottura direttamente a contatto con il fuoco. Per ricominciare, in modo diverso, più tardi. L'argilla si è depositata in me, per sempre. Ha aspettato pazientemente che un momento più favorevole della mia vita mi chiamasse di nuovo. Nel 2007 ho creato il laboratorio in Alsazia. Uno smalto opaco e sfumato, cotture multiple seguite da un'affumicatura controllata, rivestono l'argilla del gres con i colori dell'ardesia, dell'acqua stagnante, dell'ocra e del muschio. A volte combino anche gres e porcellana. Una funge da supporto per il bianco polveroso dell'altra. Lentamente, l'acciaio e il bronzo hanno preso il loro posto. Le mie creazioni esplorano due aree: Un'opera scultorea, figurativa, composta da soggetti che mettono in scena il corpo umano attraverso i quali cerco di esprimere una forma di interiorità. Volevo mostrare queste persone in cerca, nella gioia, temporaneamente distaccate dal mondo e dalle sue contingenze. Un'opera murale in bianco e nero sul tema dell'orizzonte.
