Fonds M-ARCO – Le Box – Marseille 16e Arrondissement

Sur les 8 000 m² de locaux, deux espaces, l'ancien Box d'Assommage et le Marché aux Viandes Foraines ont été conservés pour abriter les actions du fonds M-ARCO. La première salle, le Box, a été intégralement rénovée : un espace de près de 1000 m2, d'une grande hauteur, à éclairage zénithal. Il a ouvert ses portes le 1er septembre 2011 pour une première exposition consacrée à Alan Charlton et Gérard Traquandi, deux artistes déjà présents dans la collection du fonds. Depuis cette date, le Box accueille une à deux expositions par an. Le Box est accessible pendant les heures d'ouverture de l'entreprise CFM. Of the 8,000 m² of premises, two areas – the former Box d'Assommage and the Marché aux Viandes Foraines – have been retained to house the activities of the M-ARCO fund. The first hall, the Box, has been completely renovated: a space of almost 1,000 m2, with high ceilings and overhead lighting. It opened its doors on September 1, 2011 for a first exhibition devoted to Alan Charlton and Gérard Traquandi, two artists already present in the fund's collection. Von den 8000 m² großen Räumlichkeiten wurden zwei Bereiche, die ehemalige Box d'Assommage und der Marché aux Viandes Foraines, erhalten, um die Aktionen des M-ARCO-Fonds zu beherbergen. Der erste Raum, die Box, wurde vollständig renoviert: ein fast 1000 m2 großer, hoher Raum mit Oberlicht. Sie öffnete ihre Türen am 1.
