Lors de votre visite je vous proposerai de vous présenter l'atelier et les méthodes de fabrication que sont le fusing et le thermoformage, techniques de travail du verre que j'utilise au quotidien au sein de l'atelier. Ensuite, si vous le souhaitez vous pourrez vous exercer à la découpe du verre et visiter la boutique. Animaux acceptés.

Glassmaker’s studio. From tableware to light fittings, I invite you to come and discover my work, which is the result of fusing and thermoforming techniques. Fusing: This is a technique involving the collage of pieces of glass thanks to the application of high temperatures. Indeed, when glass is heated and certain technical constraints overcome, it becomes sticky so that, when several pieces of glass are superimposed, they fuse during cooling. Thermoforming: Thermoforming consists in giving glass a shape, thanks again to the right temperature. Previously fused plates of glass are placed in moulds and heated. The high temperature renders the glass malleable so that it can be fitted to take the shape of the mould. Visits by appointment. Pets welcome.

Bei Ihrem Besuch werde ich Ihnen das Atelier und die Herstellungsmethoden Fusing und Thermoformen vorstellen, Glasbearbeitungstechniken, die ich täglich in meinem Atelier anwende. Wenn Sie möchten, können Sie sich anschließend im Glasschneiden üben und den Laden besuchen. Haustiere sind erlaubt.

Tijdens je bezoek geef ik je een introductie tot het atelier en de fusing- en thermovormmethoden die ik dagelijks gebruik om met glas te werken. Als je wilt, kun je daarna zelf glassnijden en de winkel bezoeken. Huisdieren zijn welkom.
