D'Orry-la-Ville à Chantilly – Oise Gravel Tour – Orry-la-Ville

La dernière étape du Tour de l’Oise gravel est parfaite pour une escapade entre nature et histoire, à faire seule ou à combiner avec d'autres étapes du Tour. Depuis la gare d’Orry-la-Ville – Coye, vous rejoignez rapidement les étangs de Commelles et le château de la Reine Blanche, au cœur de la forêt de Chantilly. L’itinéraire traverse ensuite le secteur de Pontarmé jusqu’à la maison forestière du Biat, avant de gagner Mont-l’Évêque et son château troubadour. Puis viennent les plaines du Valois, les chemins agricoles et le village perché de Montépilloy, dominé par son donjon médiéval. Après Barbery et Ognon, la forêt d’Halatte s’ouvre à vous, avec une halte incontournable au temple gallo-romain de la forêt. La voie verte de Chamant mène ensuite à Senlis, joyau médiéval à explorer en poussant votre vélo : cathédrale Notre-Dame, château royal, vélodrome centenaire et ruelles pavées. Les derniers kilomètres vers Chantilly longent la forêt et le village d’Avilly-Saint-Léonard. Le domaine de Chantilly, son château et ses Grandes Écuries vous attendent avant la gare de Chantilly-Gouvieux.

From the Orry-la-Ville–Coye train station, you’ll quickly reach the Commelles ponds and the Château de la Reine Blanche, in the heart of the Chantilly Forest. The route then crosses the Pontarmé area to the Biat forest ranger station, before reaching Mont-l’Évêque and its troubadour castle. Next come the plains of Valois, the farm roads, and the hilltop village of Montépilloy, dominated by its medieval keep. After Barbery and Ognon, the Halatte Forest opens up before you, with a must-see stop at the Gallo-Roman temple in the forest. The Chamant Greenway then leads to Senlis, a medieval gem to explore as you ride your bike: Notre-Dame Cathedral, the royal castle, the century-old velodrome, and cobblestone streets. The final kilometers toward Chantilly run alongside the forest and the village of Avilly-Saint-Léonard. The Chantilly estate, its castle, and its Grandes Écuries await you before you reach the Chantilly-Gouvieux train station.
