Visite et exposition au Non-Lieu – Roubaix

Construite en 1887, cette vaste filature de laine intègre progressivement les activités de teinturerie, de tissage et d’apprêts pour former un ensemble industriel complet. Les bâtiments d’origine sont aujourd’hui encore conservés. Véritable plongée dans le patrimoine textile roubaisien, le site donne à voir l’organisation et le fonctionnement d’une usine du 19e siècle, autour de son cœur énergétique et de ses ateliers techniques. Aujourd’hui, ces espaces sont investis par l’association Le Non-Lieu, qui en fait un lieu de création et de transmission – Visite libre et exposition Motifs ! Built in 1887, this vast wool spinning mill gradually incorporated dyeing, weaving, and finishing operations to form a complete industrial complex. The original buildings are still preserved today. Offering a true immersion into Roubaix’s textile heritage, the site provides a glimpse into the organization and operations of a 19th-century factory, centered around its power plant and technical workshops. Today, these spaces are managed by the association Le Non-Lieu, which has transformed them into a hub for creativity and cultural transmission – Self-guided tour and the “Motifs!” exhibition! Diese 1887 erbaute, weitläufige Wollspinnerei integrierte nach und nach die Bereiche Färberei, Weberei und Veredelung und bildete so einen kompletten Industriekomplex. Die ursprünglichen Gebäude sind bis heute erhalten geblieben. Als authentischer Einblick in das textile Erbe von Roubaix vermittelt der Standort einen Einblick in die Organisation und Funktionsweise einer Fabrik des 19. Jahrhunderts, ausgehend von ihrem energetischen Herzstück und ihren technischen Werkstätten. Heute werden diese Räume vom Verein „Le Non-Lieu“ genutzt, der sie zu einem Ort der Kreativität und der Wissensvermittlung macht – Freie Besichtigung und Ausstellung „Motifs!“ Von der Straße zum Stoff, samstags von 14:00 bis 23:00 Uhr und sonntags von 14:00 bis 18:00 Uhr – Führung „Es war einmal die Fabrik Cavrois-Mahieu“, samstags und sonntags von 14:00 bis 18:00 Uhr, Start alle 30 Minuten – Ausstellung und Gesprächsrunde: „Der Erhalt des industriellen Kulturerbes in Zeiten der städtischen Privatisierung“, samstags und sonntags durchgehend – Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema „Gefährdetes Kulturerbe“, Samstag um 16 Uhr

Deze in 1887 gebouwde, uitgestrekte wolspinnerij breidde haar activiteiten geleidelijk uit met verven, weven en afwerken, waardoor een compleet industrieel complex ontstond. De oorspronkelijke gebouwen zijn vandaag de dag nog steeds bewaard gebleven. Deze locatie biedt een ware duik in het textielerfgoed van Roubaix en geeft inzicht in de organisatie en werking van een 19e-eeuwse fabriek, met als middelpunt de energiecentrale en de technische werkplaatsen. Los edificios originales se conservan aún hoy en día. Este recinto, que supone una auténtica inmersión en el patrimonio textil de Roubaix, permite conocer la organización y el funcionamiento de una fábrica del siglo XIX, en torno a su núcleo energético y sus talleres técnicos. Costruita nel 1887, questa vasta filatura di lana ha progressivamente integrato le attività di tintoria, tessitura e finitura, fino a formare un complesso industriale completo. Gli edifici originali sono conservati ancora oggi. Vero e proprio tuffo nel patrimonio tessile di Roubaix, il sito permette di scoprire l’organizzazione e il funzionamento di una fabbrica del XIX secolo, incentrata sul suo cuore energetico e sulle sue officine tecniche.
