Exposition "Brillat-Savarin ou la naissance de la gastronomie" – 05-04-2025 – Vougeot

À l'occasion du bicentenaire de sa publication et de la disparition de son auteur Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826), le Château du Clos de Vougeot proposera à ses visiteurs à partir d'avril 2025 l'exposition « Brillat-Savarin ou la naissance de la Gastronomie ». À travers une exposition déclinée en une quinzaine de panneaux, des mises en situation d'objets d'époques, de manuscrits, le visiteur découvrira l'histoire du célèbre gastronome depuis sa naissance dans l'Ain, son passage à Dijon et son rôle en tant que Député et Magistrat, ses écrits et fameux aphorismes et bien sûr, au-delà du célèbre fromage, l'héritage que nous laisse 200 ans plus tard, ce gastronome transcendant. À PROPOS DE JEAN ANTHELME BRILLAT-SAVARIN La gastronomie, telle que nous la connaissons est un art de vivre qui a eu ses inventeurs, ses théoriciens, ses propagateurs et dans cette grande conquête de l'humanité, c'est Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin qui a, de loin, joué le premier rôle. Magistrat issu d'une longue lignée de juristes de Belley (Ain), député, conseiller à la Cour de cassation, poète et essayiste, polyglotte, musicien talentueux, ami fidèle et délicat, il fut un gourmet aux connaissances encyclopédiques et aux curiosités toujours renouvelées, sans cesse désireux d'aller au-delà des habitudes et des conventions, exigeant comme on ne l'avait jamais été avant lui sur la qualité et la fraîcheur des aliments, sur l'assemblage des saveurs, sur l'accord mets-vins, sur l'équilibre des repas et mille choses encore.

Anhand einer Ausstellung mit etwa fünfzehn Tafeln, der Präsentation von Gegenständen aus der Zeit und Manuskripten wird der Besucher die Geschichte des berühmten Gastronomen von seiner Geburt im Departement Ain, seiner Zeit in Dijon und seiner Rolle als Abgeordneter und Richter, seinen Schriften und berühmten Aphorismen und natürlich über den berühmten Käse hinaus das Vermächtnis entdecken, das uns dieser transzendente Gastronom 200 Jahre später hinterlassen hat.
