La légende relate l'exploit de Robin de La Haye, vers 1350, pendant la guerre de Cent Ans, d'un combat homérique au coin du bois de la Dorelle, contre un dragon, le Basilic, alors que Robin regagnait son château de Bournand. Robin le tua avec témérité. Légende qui a traversé les siècles jusqu'à nos jours.
