LES FILLES DU TEXTILE – 25-11-2022 – Vendin-le-Vieil

Les femmes interrogées, pour la plupart filles de mineurs, reviennent sur ce qui les a poussées à s’embaucher à l’usine, se souviennent de la fatigue des cadences et des horaires, mais évoquent aussi le soulagement d’échapper à la domination domestique du coron. A partir d’archives et de témoignages, le travail ouvrier y est raconté dans sa double vérité, entre exploitation de la force de travail et émancipation collective, à travers la complicité et la solidarité, la combativité des luttes et des grèves, et la construction de soi au contact des autres.

The women interviewed, most of them daughters of miners, recall what led them to join the factory, the fatigue of the pace and the hours, but also the relief of escaping the domestic domination of the coron. From archives and testimonies, the workers' work is told in its double truth, between exploitation of the work force and collective emancipation, through complicity and solidarity, the combativeness of struggles and strikes, and the construction of oneself in contact with others.

Die befragten Frauen, die meisten von ihnen Töchter von Bergarbeitern, erzählen, warum sie sich in der Fabrik anheuern ließen, erinnern sich an die Strapazen des Arbeitsrhythmus und der Arbeitszeiten, aber auch an die Erleichterung, der häuslichen Herrschaft in der Coron entkommen zu sein. Anhand von Archivmaterial und Zeugenaussagen wird die Arbeit der Arbeiterinnen in ihrer doppelten Wahrheit zwischen Ausbeutung der Arbeitskraft und kollektiver Emanzipation erzählt, durch Komplizenschaft und Solidarität, den Kampfgeist der Kämpfe und Streiks und die Selbstbildung im Kontakt mit anderen.

De geïnterviewde vrouwen, voor het merendeel dochters van mijnwerkers, vertellen wat hen ertoe bracht in de fabriek te gaan werken, herinneren zich de vermoeidheid van het tempo en de uren, maar roepen ook de opluchting op van het ontsnappen aan de huiselijke overheersing van de coron. Op basis van archieven en getuigenissen wordt het werk van de arbeiders verteld in zijn dubbele waarheid, tussen uitbuiting van arbeidskracht en collectieve emancipatie, door middel van medeplichtigheid en solidariteit, de strijdbaarheid van strijd en stakingen, en de opbouw van zichzelf door contact met anderen.

Las mujeres entrevistadas, en su mayoría hijas de mineros, hablan de lo que las llevó a incorporarse a la fábrica, recuerdan la fatiga del ritmo y de los horarios, pero también evocan el alivio de escapar de la dominación doméstica de la coronilla. A partir de archivos y testimonios, el trabajo de los obreros se cuenta en su doble verdad, entre la explotación de la fuerza de trabajo y la emancipación colectiva, a través de la complicidad y la solidaridad, la combatividad de las luchas y las huelgas, y la construcción de sí mismo a través del contacto con los demás.

Le donne intervistate, la maggior parte delle quali figlie di minatori, raccontano cosa le ha spinte a entrare in fabbrica, ricordano la fatica dei ritmi e degli orari, ma evocano anche il sollievo di sfuggire al dominio domestico del corone. Sulla base di archivi e testimonianze, il lavoro degli operai viene raccontato nella sua doppia verità, tra sfruttamento del potere lavorativo ed emancipazione collettiva, attraverso la complicità e la solidarietà, la combattività delle lotte e degli scioperi e la costruzione di se stessi attraverso il contatto con gli altri.
