Le vol d'initiation s'effectue en place pilote, accompagné d'un instructeur. C'est une première leçon de pilotage, avec un briefing d'un quart d'heure avant le vol, d'un vol d'une 1/2 heure et d'un débriefing d'un quart d'heure à la fin du vol.
