Ce site est également un conservatoire pour de nombreuses espèces animales : Cistude d'Europe, Vertigo moulinsiana, Criquet tricolore, Castor d'Europe, Huppe fasciée, Martin pêcheur, Cordulie à corps fin, Alyste accoucheur, Cuivré des Marais, etc.
