Le Marais de Dol

Sur 12 000 hectares, le marais de Dol se décompose en deux parties : le Marais Noir, constitué de tourbe, aux proches environs de Dol. Le Marais Blanc, plus au Nord, constitué de tanguer marine. Le Mont Dol est un promontoire granitique, de 65 mètres au milieu des terres, et également un site mégalithique (silex, ossements paléolithiques).

The Dol Marshes cover an area of 12,000 hectares. They can be divided into two sections – the Marais Noir (Black Marsh) consisting of peat, which lies around the town of Dol and the Marais Blanc (White Marsh) further North consisting of sea-sand. Mont Dol is an outcrop of granite 65 metres high in the depths of the countryside. It is also a megalithic site (flints, bones dating from the Palaeolithic Era).

Das 12 000 Hektar große Marais de Dol besteht aus zwei Teilen: dem Marais Noir, das aus Torf besteht und sich in der näheren Umgebung von Dol befindet. Das weiter nördlich gelegene Marais Blanc besteht aus Tanguer marine. Der Mont Dol ist ein 65 Meter hoher Granitvorsprung in der Mitte des Landes und ebenfalls eine megalithische Stätte (Feuerstein, paläolithische Knochen).
