Le canal de Haute-Perche – Chaumes-en-Retz

Le canal de Haute-Perche, d'une longueur d'environ 14 km, est une véritable rivière malgré son faible gabarit et son mystérieux titre de "canal". Il prend sa source dans les arrières du village de la Meule à Arthon-en-Retz, bifurque vers l'ouest au village de Haute-Perche et rejoint tranquillement, en serpentant le port de Pornic.   

The Haute-Perche canal, some 14 km long, is a real river despite its small size and mysterious "canal" title. It rises at the back of the village of La Meule in Arthon-en-Retz, branches off to the west at the village of Haute-Perche and meanders its way to the port of Pornic.

Der Canal de Haute-Perche ist etwa 14 km lang und trotz seines geringen Umfangs und des geheimnisvollen Titels "Kanal" ein echter Fluss. Er entspringt im Hinterland des Dorfes La Meule in Arthon-en-Retz, zweigt im Dorf Haute-Perche nach Westen ab und erreicht gemächlich in Schlangenlinien den Hafen von Pornic.

Het kanaal Haute-Perche, ongeveer 14 km lang, is een echte rivier ondanks zijn kleine afmetingen en zijn mysterieuze titel "kanaal". Het ontspringt aan de achterkant van het dorp La Meule in Arthon-en-Retz, vertakt zich naar het westen bij het dorp Haute-Perche en slingert zich een weg naar de haven van Pornic.

El canal de la Haute-Perche, de unos 14 km de longitud, es un verdadero río a pesar de su pequeño tamaño y su misterioso título de "canal". Nace en la parte trasera del pueblo de La Meule, en Arthon-en-Retz, se bifurca hacia el oeste en el pueblo de Haute-Perche y serpentea hasta el puerto de Pornic.

Il canale della Haute-Perche, lungo circa 14 km, è un vero e proprio fiume, nonostante le sue dimensioni ridotte e il suo misterioso titolo di "canale". Nasce alle spalle del villaggio di La Meule ad Arthon-en-Retz, si dirama a ovest nel villaggio di Haute-Perche e serpeggia fino al porto di Pornic.
