Verteuil, a town nestled between its castle and the Charente river. The church is home to a 16th-century "mise au tombeau", a magnificent polychrome terracotta work attributed to the Germain Pilon workshop.

Verteuil ist eine Stadt, die sich zwischen ihrem Schloss und dem Fluss Charente einklemmt. Die Kirche beherbergt eine Grablegung aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, die aus polychromer Terrakotta besteht und der Werkstatt Germain Pilon zugeschrieben wird.
