L’existence du village d'Augnax remonte sans doute à la fin du IVe siècle. Il fut à partir du Xe siècle une place de guerre assez importante.

The village of Augnax probably dates back to the end of the 4th century. From the 10th century onwards, it was an important place of war.

Die Existenz des Dorfes Augnax geht wahrscheinlich auf das Ende des vierten Jahrhunderts zurück. Jahrhundert war es ein wichtiger Kriegsschauplatz.

Het dorp Augnax dateert waarschijnlijk uit het einde van de 4e eeuw. Vanaf de 10e eeuw was het een belangrijke oorlogsplaats.
