Tour de l'Horloge – Cessieu

Datant du 12e siècle et appartenant à la famille de Torchefelon, cette tour aurait joué un rôle de protection au Moyen-Age. Elle serait un vestige du « Châtelard » qui s’élevait à flanc de coteau.

Dating from the 12th century and belonging to the Torchefelon family, this tower would have played a protective role in the Middle Ages. It is thought to be a remnant of the ‘Châtelard’, which stood on the hillside.

Dieser Turm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, der der Familie de Torchefelon gehörte, soll im Mittelalter eine Schutzfunktion ausgeübt haben. Er soll ein Überbleibsel des "Châtelard" sein, das an der Flanke des Hügels stand.
