Porte fortifiée – Chilhac

Le château de Chilhac se dressait à l'extrémité Sud-Ouest de l'éperon basaltique. Il subsiste la porte couverte d'un arc en tiers-point, surmonté d'une bretèche. Le tiers-point et l'archère dans la bretèche sont caractéristiques du XIIIème siècle.

Chilhac castle stood at the south-western end of the basalt spur. What remains is the gateway covered by a tier-point arch, surmounted by a bretèche. The tiers-point and the arch in the bretèche are characteristic of the 13th century.

Die Burg von Chilhac stand am südwestlichen Ende des Basaltsporns. Erhalten geblieben ist das Tor, das mit einem Terzbogen bedeckt ist und von einem Bretèche überragt wird. Der Terzettpunkt und die Bogenscharte in der Bretèche sind charakteristisch für das 13.

Het kasteel van Chilhac stond aan het zuidwestelijke uiteinde van de basaltuitloper. Wat overgebleven is, is de poort overdekt door een spitsboog, met daarboven een bretèche. De etagepunt en de boog in de bretèche zijn karakteristiek voor de 13e eeuw.

El castillo de Chilhac se alzaba en el extremo suroccidental del espolón de basalto. Lo que queda es la puerta cubierta por un arco apuntado, coronada por una bretèche. La punta de la grada y el arco de la bretèche son característicos del siglo XIII.
