Place Saint Vincent de Paul – Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne

La place s'étendait jadis jusqu'au pied du château sans dépasser la Chalaronne. Elle est bordée par l'ancien couvent des Ursulines qui l'occupent jusqu'à la Révolution.

St Vincent de Paul square was the heart of the old city which stretched at the foot of the castle. It was edged by the ancient nunnery of Ursuline sisters till the revolution. They baked a little pastry with saffran which is called "Pain of Chatillon".

Der Platz erstreckte sich früher bis zum Fuß des Schlosses, ohne über die Chalaronne hinauszugehen. Er wird vom ehemaligen Ursulinenkloster gesäumt, das ihn bis zur Revolution bewohnte.

Het plein liep ooit door tot aan de voet van het kasteel zonder verder te gaan dan de Chalaronne. Het wordt begrensd door het voormalige Ursulinenklooster, dat het tot de Revolutie bezette.

La plaza se extendía antiguamente hasta los pies del castillo sin sobrepasar la Calarona. Limita con el antiguo convento de las Ursulinas, que lo ocupó hasta la Revolución.

Un tempo la piazza si estendeva fino ai piedi del castello senza oltrepassare la Chalaronne. Confina con l'ex convento delle Orsoline, che lo ha occupato fino alla Rivoluzione.
