Phare du Cap Lévi – Fermanville

The Cap Lévi lighthouse is located in Fermanville, a charming village halfway between Gatteville-le-Phare and Cherbourg. Twenty-eight metres high and with one hundred and thirteen steps, the lighthouse in Fermanville draws the eye with its geometric appearance. Its shape is square rather than cylindrical, unlike its neighbor in Gatteville. Erected in 1858 and destroyed during the 1944 landings, the Cap Lévi lighthouse was rebuilt after the war.
