Parc du Moulin à Tan et Serres de Collections Tropicales – Sens

Vaste îlot de verdure de 16 ha, conçu comme un espace naturel, rustique et de loisirs, ce parc intègre une mosaïque d'espaces très différents (arboretum, enclos animaliers, roseraie paysagère, sous-bois, plaine de jeux…) où chaque visiteur trouvera son intérêt. À l'entrée du parc, 600 m2 de serres tropicales permettent de découvrir orchidées, plantes carnivores, cactées, broméliacées et autres plantes des lointains pays chauds, dont l'étonnante Victoria Cruziana, plante aquatique géante.

The Moulin à Tan was built in 1887 by the Domange family in a vast 16-hectare island of greenery on the edge of the town and countryside. The magnificent park that surrounds it is one of the most visited in Burgundy with nearly 200,000 visitors and was classified as a "remarkable garden" in 2011. It comprises a succession of landscape scenes with different vocations. You will discover the arboretum, animal enclosures, a wild rose garden, children's play areas, water birds, a wildlife observation area… This conception of the park allows to capture not only the contemplative walker, but also the amateur in search of references. The waters of the Vanne and Ling rivers give a characteristic note of freshness and life. The calendar of the seasons is combined with nature, it is the city in the country, a place where the visitor finds peace and serenity. With your family (children aged 6 and over) or with friends, try out one of the Park's eight newly installed permanent orientation courses! They are available for download, or in paper format at our reception office in Sens. The park is open every day from 8am to 8.30pm (April to September), 8am to 6.30pm (March and October), or 8am to 5.30pm (November to February). The tropical greenhouses are open every day, from 1.30 to 4.45 pm from Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5.30 pm from April to September or until 5 pm from October to March. The Tropical Greenhouses, in the heart of the Moulin à Tan Park, offer you a visual and olfactory change of scenery from faraway lands: vanilla, pepper, pineapple, banana and orange trees… Walk through the 600 m² of greenhouses and discover orchids, cacti, carnivorous plants and many other species. To end your stroll, the winter garden and its tropical forest will lead you to the giant aquatic plant "Victoria Cruziana", the flagship of the entire collection. Around 1500 different species or varieties of plants are found in these greenhouses. They attract an average of 30,000 visitors per year. Am Eingang des Parks befinden sich 600 m2 tropische Gewächshäuser, in denen man Orchideen, fleischfressende Pflanzen, Kakteen, Bromelien und andere Pflanzen aus fernen, warmen Ländern entdecken kann, darunter die erstaunliche Victoria Cruziana, eine gigantische Wasserpflanze.

Dit uitgestrekte groene eiland van 16 hectare, ontworpen als een natuurlijk, rustiek en recreatief gebied, omvat een mozaïek van zeer verschillende gebieden (arboretum, dierenverblijven, landschapstuin met rozen, kreupelhout, speeltuin, enz.) waar elke bezoeker zijn interesse zal vinden. Bij de ingang van het park kunnen bezoekers in 600 m2 tropische kassen kennismaken met orchideeën, vleesetende planten, cactussen, bromelia's en andere planten uit verre warme landen, waaronder de verbazingwekkende Victoria Cruziana, een reusachtige waterplant.

A la entrada del parque, 600 m2 de invernaderos tropicales permiten a los visitantes descubrir orquídeas, plantas carnívoras, cactus, bromelias y otras plantas de países cálidos lejanos, incluida la sorprendente Victoria Cruziana, una planta acuática gigante.

Vasta isola verde di 16 ettari, concepita come area naturale, rustica e di svago, questo parco incorpora un mosaico di aree molto diverse tra loro (arboreto, recinti per animali, roseto paesaggistico, sottobosco, parco giochi, ecc.) in cui ogni visitatore troverà il proprio interesse. All'ingresso del parco, 600 m2 di serre tropicali permettono ai visitatori di scoprire orchidee, piante carnivore, cactus, bromelie e altre piante provenienti da lontani Paesi caldi, tra cui la sorprendente Victoria Cruziana, una pianta acquatica gigante.
