Musée de la chaise – Came

Situé aux confins du Pays Basque, des Landes et du Béarn, Came est le village des chaisiers par tradition. Des ateliers de fabrication de chaises se mettent en effet en place au XIXème siècle. Jean-Jacques Lataillade, dont l'atelier familial a été crée en 1860, présente l’évolution des outils et le savoir-faire transmis sur plusieurs générations. Il vous propose également de découvrir son atelier de fabrication et d'exposition, attenant au musée.

Situated on the borders of the Basque Country, the Landes and Béarn, Came is the village of the cellars by tradition. Workshops for the manufacture of chairs were set up in the 19th century. Jean-Jacques Lataillade, whose family workshop was created in 1860, presents the evolution of the tools and the know-how passed down over several generations. He also invites you to discover his workshop and exhibition, adjacent to the museum.

Came liegt an der Grenze zwischen dem Baskenland, den Landes und dem Béarn und ist traditionell das Dorf der Stuhlmacher. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurden hier Werkstätten zur Herstellung von Stühlen eingerichtet. Jean-Jacques Lataillade, dessen Familienwerkstatt 1860 gegründet wurde, stellt die Entwicklung der Werkzeuge und das über mehrere Generationen weitergegebene Know-how vor. Er lädt Sie außerdem ein, seine an das Museum angrenzende Fertigungs- und Ausstellungswerkstatt zu besichtigen.

Came, gelegen op de grens van het Baskenland, de Landes en de Bearn, is van oudsher het dorp van de stoelenmakers. In de 19e eeuw ontstonden er inderdaad werkplaatsen voor het maken van stoelen. Jean-Jacques Lataillade, wiens familieatelier in 1860 werd opgericht, presenteert de evolutie van het gereedschap en de knowhow die in de loop van verschillende generaties werd doorgegeven. Hij nodigt u ook uit om zijn productie- en tentoonstellingsatelier, grenzend aan het museum, te ontdekken.

Situado en los límites del País Vasco, las Landas y el Béarn, Came es el pueblo de los fabricantes de sillas por tradición. De hecho, en el siglo XIX se crearon talleres de fabricación de sillas. Jean-Jacques Lataillade, cuyo taller familiar se creó en 1860, presenta la evolución de las herramientas y los conocimientos técnicos transmitidos a lo largo de varias generaciones. También le invita a descubrir su taller de fabricación y exposición, adyacente al museo.
