Musée Curie – Paris

Fondé en 1911, l'Institut du Radium regroupe les laboratoires de Marie Curie en physique et chimie, et de Claudius Regaud en médecine et biologie. Le musée Curie, situé dans le pavillon Curie de l'ancien institut, retrace l'histoire de la radioactivité et de ses applications médicales à travers des instruments historiques et des photos de la famille Curie, lauréate de cinq prix Nobel. Réaménagé en 2012, le musée propose une exposition sur la famille Curie, le radium, le laboratoire Curie et la lutte contre le cancer par la Fondation Curie, offrant ainsi une visite alliant science et histoire.

Founded in 1911, the Institut du Radium brings together the laboratories of Marie Curie in physics and chemistry, and Claudius Regaud in medicine and biology. The Musée Curie, located in the former institute's Pavillon Curie, traces the history of radioactivity and its medical applications through historical instruments and photos of the Curie family, winners of five Nobel Prizes. Refurbished in 2012, the museum features an exhibition on the Curie family, radium, the Curie laboratory and the Fondation Curie's fight against cancer, offering a visit that combines science and history.

Das 1911 gegründete Radiuminstitut umfasst die Laboratorien von Marie Curie für Physik und Chemie und von Claudius Regaud für Medizin und Biologie. Das Curie-Museum, das sich im Curie-Pavillon des ehemaligen Instituts befindet, zeigt die Geschichte der Radioaktivität und ihrer medizinischen Anwendungen anhand von historischen Instrumenten und Fotos der Familie Curie, die fünf Nobelpreise erhalten hat.
