Hôtel Guimard – Paris

Construit entre 1909 et 1912 par l’architecte Hector Guimard, cet hôtel particulier de style Art nouveau est une œuvre d’art. Il abritait l’agence de Guimard au rez-de-chaussée, ses appartements privés aux 1er et 2e étages, et l’atelier de sa femme au 3e étage. Classée pour sa façade en pierres et briques ornée de formes courbes et de bow-windows décorés de motifs floraux, cette construction témoigne du talent de Guimard.

Built between 1909 and 1912 by architect Hector Guimard, this Art Nouveau-style townhouse is a work of art. It housed Guimard?s agency on the first floor, his private apartments on the 1st and 2nd floors, and his wife?s studio on the 3rd floor. Listed for its stone and brick facade featuring curved forms and bow windows decorated with floral motifs, this building is a testament to Guimard?s talent.

Das zwischen 1909 und 1912 von dem Architekten Hector Guimard erbaute Jugendstilhaus ist ein Kunstwerk. Es beherbergte Guimards Büro im Erdgeschoss, seine Privatwohnungen im ersten und zweiten Stock und das Atelier seiner Frau im dritten Stock. Die Fassade aus Stein und Backstein mit ihren geschwungenen Formen und den mit Blumenmotiven verzierten Erkern steht unter Denkmalschutz und zeugt von Guimards Talent.
