Eglise Saint-Wulphy

L'église Saint-Wulphy est construite en 1492 après qu'une catastrophe naturelle ait détruit le sanctuaire initiale quelques années plus tôt. En 1599 l'évêque d'Amiens la met à disposition des Carmes et devient leur chapelle conventuelle. L'édifice perd sa vocation cultuelle après la Révolution.

The church of Saint-Wulphy was built in 1492 after a natural disaster had destroyed the original sanctuary a few years earlier. In 1599 the Bishop of Amiens made it available to the Carmelites and it became their conventual chapel. The building lost its religious vocation after the Revolution.

Die Kirche Saint-Wulphy wurde 1492 erbaut, nachdem eine Naturkatastrophe das ursprüngliche Heiligtum einige Jahre zuvor zerstört hatte. Im Jahr 1599 stellte der Bischof von Amiens die Kirche den Karmelitern zur Verfügung und machte sie zu ihrer Klosterkapelle. Nach der Revolution verlor das Gebäude seine kultische Bestimmung.

De kerk van Saint-Wulphy werd gebouwd in 1492 nadat een natuurramp enkele jaren eerder het oorspronkelijke heiligdom had verwoest. In 1599 stelde de bisschop van Amiens het ter beschikking van de karmelieten en werd het hun kloosterkapel. Het gebouw verloor zijn religieuze roeping na de Revolutie.
