Eglise Saint-Wallois

L'église Saint-Wallois a été construite en 1868 pour remplacer l'ancienne devenue vetuste. Elle s'élève sur un terrain offert gracieusement par le propriétaire de la ferme de Beaurepaire. On doit son style néogothique à l'architecte Clovis Normand. L'intérieur de l'édifice est attribué au sculpteur audomarrois Emile Sturne et à l'entrepreneur montreuillois Elie Gourdain.

The Saint-Wallois church was built in 1868 to replace the old one which had become obsolete. It was built on a piece of land graciously offered by the owner of the Beaurepaire farm. Its neo-gothic style is due to the architect Clovis Normand. The interior of the building is attributed to the sculptor Emile Sturne from Audomar and the contractor Elie Gourdain from Montreuil.

Die Kirche Saint-Wallois wurde 1868 erbaut, um die alte, baufällig gewordene Kirche zu ersetzen. Sie steht auf einem Grundstück, das der Besitzer des Bauernhofs Beaurepaire freundlicherweise zur Verfügung gestellt hatte. Seinen neogotischen Stil verdankt es dem Architekten Clovis Normand. Das Innere des Gebäudes wurde dem Bildhauer Emile Sturne aus Audomarrois und dem Bauunternehmer Elie Gourdain aus Montreuillois zugeschrieben.
