Eglise Saint-Martin

Puissante église fortifiée du XVI e siècle, dotée d’un clocher-porche et d’une fine tour de flanquement coiffée d’une toiture en poivrière. Remarquez les fins remplages gothiques, belles dentelles de pierre soutenant les vitraux, des baies du choeur, la corniche à modillons ciselés et soignés, les nombreuses ouvertures de tir. Les réfections furent nombreuses notamment pour le mur pignon et le portail.

Powerful 16th century fortified church with a bell-tower-porch and a fine flanking tower topped with a pepperpot roof. Note the fine Gothic fillings, beautiful stone lacework supporting the stained glass windows, the choir windows, the cornice with carefully chiselled modillions, the numerous firing openings. The gable wall and the doorway have been extensively restored, in particular the gable wall and the portal.
