Eglise Saint-Barthélémy de Chalinargues

L’église est placée sur la place principale du bourg, légèrement en hauteur sur l’ancien site castral. Datant du XIIème siècle, elle possède un remarquable clocher à peigne décoré par trois statues. C’est un savant mélange d’art gothique et d’art roman.

The church is located on the town's main square, slightly elevated on the former castral site. Dating from the 12th century, it boasts a remarkable comb bell tower decorated with three statues. It's a clever blend of Gothic and Romanesque art.

Die Kirche befindet sich auf dem Hauptplatz des Ortes, etwas erhöht auf dem ehemaligen Burggelände. Sie stammt aus dem 12. Jahrhundert und besitzt einen bemerkenswerten Glockenturm mit Kamm, der mit drei Statuen geschmückt ist. Sie ist eine geschickte Mischung aus gotischer und romanischer Kunst.
