Collégiale Notre-Dame – Beaune

D'inspiration clunisienne, elle date pour l'essentiel du XIIIe s., avec des ajouts gothiques (portail et chevet) et un clocher Renaissance. Le chœur abrite une une vierge noire, statue du XIIe s, ainsi qu'une remarquable collection de tapisseries de Tournai du XVe s. représentant des scènes de la vie de Marie. Les tapisseries sont accessibles au public d'avril à octobre : mercredi-jeudi-vendredi et dimanche : 14h30-17h30 / samedi 10h-12h – sauf pendant les cérémonies religieuses. A noter également, une belle chapelle Renaissance.

Of Cluniac inspiration, it dates back mainly to the 13th century, with Gothic additions (portal and chevet) and a Renaissance bell tower. The choir houses a 12th-century statue of the Black Madonna, as well as a remarkable collection of 15th-century Tournai tapestries depicting scenes from the life of Mary. The tapestries are open to the public from April to October: Wednesday-Thursday-Friday and Sunday: 2.30pm-5.30pm / Saturday 10am-12pm – except during religious ceremonies. There is also a beautiful Renaissance chapel.
