Château de Saint-Floret – Saint-Floret

Château féodal du 13e siècle, une 40aine de fresques représentant le roman de Tristan et Iseult, furent peintes en 1370, 13 subsistent et sont uniques en Europe. Ouverts au public : une 2è salle, accès au donjon, à la tour avec vue panoramique.

This is a feudal castle of the 12th century. A beautiful gothic room was constructed in the 14th century, bedecked with twelve veins and a keystone representing a sun with a human face. 13 frescoes remain there, representing the work of Tristan. This is the unique representation known of the novel of Tristan. Since 2011, the second room of the castle can be visited. The keep is also accessible. From up there, you will enjoy a beautiful point of view on the village of Saint-Floret.

Besichtigen Sie das Schloß, in dessen ErdgeschoB sich eine der schönsten gotischen Säle Frankreichs befindet. Aus dem Ende des 16. Jh. stammen die Wand- und Erkmalereien, die die Legende von Tristan und Isolde darstellen.

Een feodaal kasteel uit de 13e eeuw. In 1370 werden ongeveer 40 fresco's geschilderd die de romance van Tristan en Isolde uitbeelden, waarvan er 13 bewaard zijn gebleven en uniek zijn in Europa. Open voor het publiek: een 2e zaal, toegang tot de donjon en de toren met panoramisch uitzicht.
