Édifié au XVIe siècle, le long des berges de l'Isle, le château (meublé, classé Monument Historique) garde de la Renaissance des salles voûtées, des peintures murales et un rarissime évier en pierre à 3 niveaux. Le Grand Salon Louis XV, la chapelle et la grotte romantique sont aménagés au XVIIIe siècle. La visite guidée fait revivre les moments tragiques et heureux de l'histoire du château jusqu'à cette année 1950 où les deniers propriétaires le lèguent à la Fondation de l'Isle pour y accueillir des enfants en difficulté.
