CHAPELLE SAINT-JEAN-BAPTISTE – Bezins-Garraux

Eglise romane de schiste, grès et marbre datant du XIIe siècle. Petit édifice à nef unique, terminée par une abside en hémicycle et couronnée par un clocher-mur. Le mur nord est percé d'une porte d'entrée en marbre, datée de 1823. L'église est couverte en lauzes. Les murs sont ornés de peintures murales remontant à la fin du XIIe ou au début du XIIIe siècle. L'église a subi des transformations aux XVIIe et XIIIe siècles : l'abside a été murée et repeinte, une petite sacristie a été accolée au mur sud, et une fenêtre percée.

Romanesque church of schist, sandstone and marble dating from the 12th century. Small building with a single nave, finished by a hemicycle apse and crowned by a bell-tower-wall. The north wall is pierced by a marble entrance door, dated 1823. The church is covered with lauzes. The walls are decorated with mural paintings dating back to the end of the 12th or the beginning of the 13th century. The church underwent transformations in the 17th and 13th centuries: the apse was walled and repainted, a small sacristy was attached to the south wall, and a window was pierced.

Romanische Kirche aus Schiefer, Sandstein und Marmor aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. Kleines Gebäude mit einem einzigen Schiff, das mit einer halbkreisförmigen Apsis endet und von einem Glockenturm mit Mauer gekrönt wird. Die Nordwand ist von einer marmornen Eingangstür aus dem Jahr 1823 durchbrochen. Die Kirche ist mit Schiefer gedeckt. Die Wände sind mit Wandmalereien verziert, die auf das Ende des 12. oder Anfang des 13. Die Kirche wurde im 17. und 13. Jahrhundert umgebaut: Die Apsis wurde zugemauert und neu gestrichen, eine kleine Sakristei wurde an die Südwand angebaut und ein Fenster durchbrochen.

La iglesia sufrió reformas en los siglos XVII y XIII: el ábside se tapió y se volvió a pintar, se añadió una pequeña sacristía en el muro sur y se añadió una ventana.
