Apothicairerie des Visitandines – Crémieu

L'apothicairerie est l'élément le plus remarquable de l'ancien couvent des Visitandines. Celle-ci date de 1715. Ses boiseries en noyer classées MH conservent une collection inestimable de pots à pharmacie en faïence s'étalant du XVIe au XVIIIe s.

This care home occupies a former Visitandine convent which was established in 1627 by Saint Joan of Chantal, the grandmother of Madame de Sévigné. It houses a number of pharmaceutical jars in an 18th-century apothecary whose woodwork is listed as historical heritage.
