Domaine de Cantafaroune is a spacious, well-appointed gite in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup wine region, 25 minutes north of Montpellier. Set in the rolling countryside, surrounded by vineyards, the gite has its own patio along with a barbecue and access – from May to September – to a sunken pool (10 x 5m) located in a large, secluded garden with views over the Pic Saint Loup mountain. Within easy reach of many tourist attractions, it can also be explored along one of the many local hiking trails, on horseback or by bicycle. A member of the Vignobles & Découvertes vineyard discovery scheme, this former winery is surrounded by renowned wine estates and its owners are on hand to provide visitors with all the information they need to taste the local wines, enjoy wine-themed activities and visit wineries. There is also free off-road parking.
