Hôtel Présent – Arles

Pensé comme une ode au patrimoine architectural du XXème siècle, notre projet veut abolir les frontières et transcender les fonctions. Plus qu’un lieu de sommeil, c’est un lieu de vie, de culture, de gastronomie, où le temps n’a de valeur que celle qu’on lui accorde, et où l’instant révèle toute la beauté du moment présent. Intégrant des références architecturales à l’ensemble de ses espaces, L’Hôtel Présent se pense comme un écrin pour une collection de luminaires, d’objets, de mobiliers, d’œuvres et d’ouvrages des années 40 à nos jours. Au-delà des 13 chambres conçues pour faire dialoguer le beau-vivre et le bien-dormir, l’Hôtel Présent est avant tout et surtout un restaurant, un bar et un rooftop offrant l’un des plus beaux panoramas de la ville.

Conceived as an ode to the architectural heritage of the 20th century, our project aims to break down boundaries and transcend functions. More than just a place to sleep, it's a place to live, to enjoy culture and gastronomy, where time is only as valuable as you make it, and where the moment reveals all the beauty of the present moment. Integrating architectural references into all its spaces, L'Hôtel Présent is conceived as a showcase for a collection of lighting, objects, furniture, works and books dating from the 1940s to the present day. As well as 13 rooms designed to create a dialogue between good living and good sleeping, the Hôtel Présent is above all a restaurant, a bar and a rooftop offering one of the most beautiful panoramas in the city.

Unser Projekt, das als Ode an das architektonische Erbe des 20. Jahrhunderts gedacht ist, soll Grenzen überwinden und Funktionen transzendieren. Es ist mehr als ein Ort des Schlafes, es ist ein Ort des Lebens, der Kultur und der Gastronomie, wo die Zeit nur den Wert hat, den man ihr beimisst, und wo der Augenblick die ganze Schönheit des gegenwärtigen Moments offenbart. Das L'Hôtel Présent, das in allen seinen Räumen architektonische Bezüge aufweist, versteht sich als Schatulle für eine Sammlung von Leuchten, Objekten, Möbeln, Werken und Büchern von den 40er Jahren bis heute. Neben den 13 Zimmern, die darauf ausgelegt sind, das schöne Leben und den guten Schlaf miteinander in Einklang zu bringen, ist das Hôtel Présent vor allem ein Restaurant, eine Bar und ein Rooftop mit einem der schönsten Panoramen der Stadt.

Opgevat als een ode aan het architecturale erfgoed van de 20e eeuw, wil ons project grenzen doorbreken en functies overstijgen. Het is meer dan alleen een plek om te slapen, het is een plek om te leven, om te genieten van cultuur en gastronomie, waar tijd net zo waardevol is als je hem zelf maakt en waar het moment alle schoonheid van het heden onthult. L'Hôtel Présent, dat architectonische verwijzingen in alle ruimtes opneemt, is ontworpen als een vitrine voor een collectie verlichting, objecten, meubels, kunstwerken en boeken die dateren van de jaren 1940 tot nu. Naast 13 kamers die zijn ontworpen om een dialoog te creëren tussen goed leven en goed slapen, is L'Hôtel Présent vooral een restaurant, een bar en een dak dat een van de mooiste panorama's van de stad biedt.

Más que un lugar para dormir, es un lugar para vivir, para disfrutar de la cultura y la gastronomía, donde el tiempo sólo tiene el valor que uno le da y donde el instante revela toda la belleza del momento presente. Integrando referencias arquitectónicas en todos sus espacios, L'Hôtel Présent está concebido como escaparate de una colección de iluminación, objetos, muebles, obras y libros que datan desde los años 40 hasta nuestros días. Además de 13 habitaciones concebidas para crear un diálogo entre el buen vivir y el buen dormir, el Hôtel Présent es sobre todo un restaurante, un bar y una azotea que ofrece uno de los panoramas más bellos de la ciudad.

Più che un luogo per dormire, è un luogo per vivere, per godere della cultura e della gastronomia, dove il tempo ha un valore pari a quello che si crea e dove l'attimo rivela tutta la bellezza del momento presente. Integrando riferimenti architettonici in tutti i suoi spazi, L'Hôtel Présent è concepito come una vetrina per una collezione di luci, oggetti, mobili, opere e libri che vanno dagli anni '40 a oggi. Oltre a 13 camere progettate per creare un dialogo tra il buon vivere e il buon dormire, l'Hôtel Présent è soprattutto un ristorante, un bar e un rooftop che offre uno dei panorami più belli della città.
