L’exposition débute avec la série des Autoportraits filmés, sortes de selfies anachroniques. Elle se poursuit avec des extraits de Portraits-Maisons, Femmes-Chambres, et son travail plus récent : Diaportraits. Mathilde Fraysse interroge nos représentations mentales, notre rapport au monde, toujours par le biais de l’émotion visuelle. Le portrait est une constante dans son travail, tout comme l’attachement aux lieux, intérieurs ou extérieurs. Elle travaille de manière intuitive et esthétique pour ensuite rejoindre une réflexion sociale et artistique. Ses photographies, le plus souvent des portraits, montrent comment les lieux et les personnes participent à la création d’une narration, d’un intime inconnu. Certains sujets reviennent, comme l’adolescence : abordée notamment dans Portraits-Maisons. Les thèmes qu'elle aborde se rejoignent. Ouvert du mardi au samedi de 12 h à 18 h.

The exhibition opens with a series of filmed self-portraits, a kind of anachronistic selfie. It continues with extracts from Portraits-Maisons, Femmes-Chambres, and her most recent work: Diaportraits. Mathilde Fraysse questions our mental representations and our relationship with the world, always through visual emotion. Portraiture is a constant in her work, as is her attachment to places, both interior and exterior. She works intuitively and aesthetically, before turning to social and artistic reflection. Her photographs, most often portraits, show how places and people contribute to the creation of a narrative, an unknown intimacy. Certain subjects come up again and again, such as adolescence, which is the subject of Portraits-Maisons. The themes she tackles come together. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 12 h to 18 h.

Die Ausstellung beginnt mit der Serie der gefilmten Selbstporträts, einer Art anachronistischer Selfies. Sie wird fortgesetzt mit Auszügen aus Portraits-Maisons, Femmes-Chambres und ihrer jüngsten Arbeit: Diaportraits. Mathilde Fraysse hinterfragt unsere mentalen Vorstellungen und unsere Beziehung zur Welt, immer mit Hilfe visueller Emotionen. Das Porträt ist eine Konstante in ihrer Arbeit, ebenso wie die Verbundenheit mit Orten, innen oder außen. Sie arbeitet auf intuitive und ästhetische Weise, um dann zu einer sozialen und künstlerischen Reflexion zu gelangen. Ihre Fotografien, meist Porträts, zeigen, wie Orte und Personen an der Schaffung einer Erzählung, eines unbekannten Intimbereichs beteiligt sind. Bestimmte Themen tauchen immer wieder auf, wie z. B. die Adoleszenz, die vor allem in Portraits-Maisons behandelt wird. Die Themen, die sie anspricht, ähneln sich. Geöffnet von Dienstag bis Samstag von 12:00 bis 18:00 Uhr.

Mathilde Fraysse bevraagt onze mentale representaties en onze relatie met de wereld, altijd door middel van visuele emotie. Portretten zijn een constante in haar werk, net als haar gehechtheid aan plaatsen, zowel binnen als buiten. Ze werkt intuïtief en esthetisch, voordat ze zich wendt tot sociale en artistieke reflectie. Haar foto's, meestal portretten, laten zien hoe plaatsen en mensen een rol spelen in het creëren van een verhaal, een onbekende intimiteit. Bepaalde onderwerpen komen steeds terug, zoals de adolescentie, het onderwerp van Portraits-Maisons. De thema's die ze aansnijdt komen allemaal samen. Open dinsdag t/m zaterdag, 12.00-18.00 uur.

Lavora in modo intuitivo ed estetico, prima di passare alla riflessione sociale e artistica. Le sue fotografie, spesso ritratti, mostrano come i luoghi e le persone contribuiscano a creare una narrazione, un'intimità sconosciuta.
