Peintre autodidacte, dessiner était déjà sa passion lorsqu’il était enfant. C’est en 1974, à l’issue d’un voyage en Guyane que l’envie de peindre se concrétise. Il choisira la peinture à l’huile et travail exclusivement avec cette dernière si agréable à utiliser. Il peint à partir de photographies, des paysages de la nature, des portraits et copie de toiles de maîtres, comme certains ici présents (Michel-Ange, Gustave Caillebotte, Delacroix, …) « Je peins uniquement pour le plaisir et expose parfois afin de partager ma passion lors d’exposition. ».
