Devant des yeux curieux, Sébastopol déplie tranquillement le contenu de sa grosse malle en ferraille. Au fil de l’installation le public découvre son univers, des instruments bien sûr mais surtout une multitude d’objets insolites : une cafetière en si bémol, une contrebassine, une batterie multi bidouilles,une scie… Un spectacle musical insolite et entraînant, sur des répertoires blues , swing, cajun et fusion. Le public part en voyage dans le temps et dans l'espace, en rencontrant les indiens, les chercheurs d'or, les Cajuns de Louisiane. Après le spectacle les enfants pourront découvrir les instruments bricolés et en apprendre plus sur l'univers de Sebastopol. Sebastopol est un bluesman atypique. Aidé par ses talents de bricoleur de génie, il crée son personnage « d’homme orchestre » mélangeant vrais instruments et objets détournés.

Before curious eyes, Sébastopol quietly unfolds the contents of his large scrap metal trunk. As the installation unfolds, the audience discovers his world, with instruments of course, but above all a multitude of unusual objects: a B-flat coffee pot, a contrabassoon, a multi-tool drum kit, a saw… A lively, unusual musical show featuring blues, swing, Cajun and fusion repertoires. Vor neugierigen Augen entfaltet Sébastopol in aller Ruhe den Inhalt seines großen Koffers aus Schrott. Im Laufe der Installation entdeckt das Publikum seine Welt, natürlich Instrumente, aber vor allem eine Vielzahl von ungewöhnlichen Gegenständen: eine Kaffeekanne in Bb, ein Kontrabass, ein Schlagzeug mit vielen Spielereien, eine Säge? Ein ungewöhnliches und mitreißendes Musikspektakel mit Blues, Swing, Cajun und Fusion. Das Publikum begibt sich auf eine Reise durch Zeit und Raum und begegnet Indianern, Goldsuchern und den Cajuns aus Louisiana.
