Avec leurs matières usagées, leurs formes sans normes et leurs fonctionnements sommaires, ces machines roulantes lentes s'appliquent à piquer la curiosité malgré leur inefficacité notoire et leur allure d'un autre temps. Composés de rouages visibles aux sonorités naturelles, les individus mécaniques de Bilbilifou invitent tout le monde à suivre leurs mouvements en observant leurs déambulations chaotiques. Références à nos objets du quotidien et à nos jouets d'enfants, ces machines abouliques se contentent souvent d'elles-mêmes dans une mise en scène sans décor qui souligne avec simplicité leur inutilité féconde.

Slowly they are conceived, slowly the materials are chosen, slowly they roll, walk, and rattle. With their recycled materials, their unconventional shapes, and their rudimentary functions, these slow-moving machines strive to pique curiosity despite their notorious inefficiency and their old-fashioned appearance. Composed of visible gears with natural sounds, Bilbilifou’s mechanical characters invite everyone to follow their movements as they observe their chaotic wanderings. Drawing on references to our everyday objects and children’s toys, these listless machines are often content with themselves in a setting without scenery that simply highlights their fertile uselessness.

Ganz langsam entstehen sie in der Fantasie, ganz langsam werden die Materialien ausgewählt, ganz langsam rollen, laufen und klappern sie. Mit ihren gebrauchten Materialien, ihren ungewöhnlichen Formen und ihrer einfachen Funktionsweise wecken diese langsam rollenden Maschinen Neugier, trotz ihrer offensichtlichen Ineffizienz und ihres Aussehens aus einer anderen Zeit. Bestehend aus sichtbaren Rädern mit natürlichen Klängen laden die mechanischen Wesen von Bilbilifou jeden ein, ihren Bewegungen zu folgen und ihre chaotischen Streifzüge zu beobachten. Als Anspielungen auf unsere Alltagsgegenstände und Kinderspielzeuge begnügen sich diese willenlosen Maschinen oft mit sich selbst in einer Inszenierung ohne Kulisse, die auf einfache Weise ihre fruchtbare Nutzlosigkeit unterstreicht.

Heel langzaam worden ze bedacht, heel langzaam worden de materialen gekozen, heel langzaam rollen, lopen en rammelen ze. Met hun afgedankte materialen, hun onconventionele vormen en hun eenvoudige werking weten deze trage, rollende machines de nieuwsgierigheid te prikkelen, ondanks hun notoire inefficiëntie en hun ouderwetse uitstraling. De mechanische figuren van Bilbilifou, bestaande uit zichtbare radertjes met natuurlijke geluiden, nodigen iedereen uit om hun bewegingen te volgen en hun chaotische omzwervingen te observeren. Met verwijzingen naar onze alledaagse voorwerpen en ons kinderspeelgoed, beperken deze apathische machines zich vaak tot zichzelf in een enscenering zonder decor, die op eenvoudige wijze hun vruchtbare nutteloosheid benadrukt.

Con sus materiales de desecho, sus formas sin normas y su funcionamiento rudimentario, estas lentas máquinas rodantes se esfuerzan por despertar la curiosidad a pesar de su notoria ineficacia y su aspecto de otra época. Compuestas por engranajes visibles con sonidos naturales, las figuras mecánicas de Bilbilifou invitan a todo el mundo a seguir sus movimientos observando sus deambulares caóticos. Con referencias a nuestros objetos cotidianos y a nuestros juguetes infantiles, estas máquinas apáticas suelen contentarse consigo mismas en una puesta en escena sin decorado que subraya con sencillez su fértil inutilidad.

A poco a poco prendono forma, a poco a poco vengono scelti i materiali, a poco a poco rotolano, camminano e tintinnano. Con i loro materiali di recupero, le loro forme fuori dagli schemi e il loro funzionamento rudimentale, queste lente macchine rotolanti si impegnano a stuzzicare la curiosità nonostante la loro nota inefficacia e il loro aspetto d'altri tempi. Composte da ingranaggi visibili dai suoni naturali, le figure meccaniche di Bilbilifou invitano tutti a seguire i loro movimenti osservando le loro andature caotiche. Riferimenti ai nostri oggetti di uso quotidiano e ai nostri giocattoli d’infanzia, queste macchine apatiche si accontentano spesso di se stesse in una messa in scena senza scenografia che sottolinea con semplicità la loro feconda inutilità.
