Écrivaine, poétesse, rédactrice, Lise Deharme a également été l'amie, la muse et la mécène de surréalistes, accueillant de nombreux artistes du mouvement dans sa maison de Montfort-en-Chalosse. Pour cette exposition, les œuvres de 14 artistes (Man Ray, André Breton, Paul Eluard, Jean Cocteau, Robert Desnos, Antonin Artaud, Dora Maar, Claude Cahun…) issues de 8 collections publiques et 6 collections particulières sont à (re)découvrir. Die Ausstellung "Lise Deharme, la femme surréaliste" wurde 2024 vom französischen Kulturministerium mit dem Label "d'intérêt national" ausgezeichnet und bis zum 31. Oktober 2025 verlängert. Die Schriftstellerin, Dichterin und Redakteurin Lise Deharme war auch die Freundin, Muse und Mäzenin der Surrealisten und beherbergte zahlreiche Künstler der Bewegung in ihrem Haus in Montfort-en-Chalosse.
