Dans une exposition commune à Art-cade*, Juliette Guerin et Brontë Scott s’approprient la thématique Faites du bruit – projet Tremplins – et en proposent une interprétation singulière. Chacune investit une aile du lieu avec un ensemble de vidéos, sculptures et éditions témoignant de ses expériences et recherches. Juliette Guerin prend pour point de départ les Tiek’s Party, fêtes de quartier organisées par le centre social Saint Gabriel. Ses œuvres, nourries par des ateliers collaboratifs, explorent la fête et le partage tout en questionnant nos relations à la consommation et à l’esthétique populaire. Brontë Scott s’intéresse à la mémoire du territoire. En explorant des archives et d’anciens plans, elle découvre que les cités actuelles reposent sur d’anciennes terres agricoles. Son installation, co-construite avec les participants du projet Tremplins, ravive ces souvenirs champêtres à travers une approche sensible et participative. In a joint exhibition at Art-cade*, Juliette Guerin and Brontë Scott take up the theme of Faites du bruit – the Tremplins project – and offer a singular interpretation. Each takes over a wing of the venue with a set of videos, sculptures and editions testifying to her experiences and research. Juliette Guerin takes as her starting point the Tiek?s Parties, neighborhood parties organized by the Saint Gabriel social center. Her works, nurtured by collaborative workshops, explore celebration and sharing, while questioning our relationship to consumerism and popular aesthetics. Brontë Scott is interested in territorial memory. Exploring archives and old maps, she discovers that today?s cities are built on ancient farmland. Her installation, co-constructed with participants in the Tremplins project, revives these rural memories through a sensitive, participatory approach. In einer gemeinsamen Ausstellung bei Art-cade* machen sich Juliette Guerin und Brontë Scott das Thema Faites du bruit – Projekt Tremplins – zu eigen und bieten eine einzigartige Interpretation an. Jede von ihnen besetzt einen Flügel des Ortes mit einer Reihe von Videos, Skulpturen und Editionen, die von ihren Erfahrungen und Recherchen zeugen. Juliette Guerin nimmt als Ausgangspunkt die Tiek?s Party, ein vom Sozialzentrum Saint Gabriel organisiertes Stadtteilfest. Ihre Werke, die aus kollaborativen Workshops hervorgegangen sind, untersuchen das Feiern und Teilen und hinterfragen gleichzeitig unsere Beziehung zum Konsum und zur populären Ästhetik. Brontë Scott interessiert sich für das Gedächtnis der Region. Durch die Erforschung von Archiven und alten Plänen entdeckte sie, dass die heutigen Städte auf ehemaligem Ackerland liegen. Ihre Installation, die sie gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmern des Projekts Tremplins aufgebaut hat, lässt diese ländlichen Erinnerungen durch einen sensiblen und partizipativen Ansatz wieder aufleben. In een gezamenlijke tentoonstelling op Art-cade* nemen Juliette Guerin en Brontë Scott het thema van Faites du bruit – het Tremplins project – over en geven er hun eigen interpretatie aan. Elk van hen neemt een vleugel van de locatie in beslag met een reeks video's, sculpturen en edities die hun eigen ervaringen en onderzoek weerspiegelen. Juliette Guerin neemt als uitgangspunt de Tiek-feesten, buurtfeesten georganiseerd door het sociaal centrum Saint Gabriel. Haar werken, geïnspireerd door gezamenlijke workshops, verkennen feesten en delen, terwijl ze onze relatie tot consumentisme en populaire esthetiek in vraag stelt. Brontë Scott is geïnteresseerd in het territoriale geheugen. Door archieven en oude kaarten te onderzoeken, ontdekt ze dat de steden van vandaag gebouwd zijn op oude landbouwgrond. Haar installatie, die ze samen met deelnemers aan het Tremplins-project heeft gemaakt, doet deze plattelandsherinneringen herleven door middel van een gevoelige en participatieve benadering. En una exposición conjunta en Art-cade*, Juliette Guerin y Brontë Scott retoman el tema de Faites du bruit -el proyecto Tremplins- y ofrecen su propia interpretación del mismo. Cada una de ellas ocupa un ala del recinto con una serie de vídeos, esculturas y ediciones que reflejan sus propias experiencias e investigaciones. Juliette Guerin toma como punto de partida las Tiek's Parties, fiestas de barrio organizadas por el centro social Saint Gabriel. Sus obras, inspiradas en talleres colaborativos, exploran la celebración y el compartir, al tiempo que cuestionan nuestra relación con el consumismo y la estética popular. Brontë Scott se interesa por la memoria territorial. Explorando archivos y mapas antiguos, descubre que las ciudades actuales están construidas sobre antiguas tierras de cultivo. Su instalación, co-construida con los participantes en el proyecto Tremplins, revive estos recuerdos rurales a través de un enfoque sensible y participativo. In una mostra congiunta ad Art-cade*, Juliette Guerin e Brontë Scott riprendono il tema di Faites du bruit – il progetto Tremplins – e ne offrono una propria interpretazione. Ciascuna di loro occupa un'ala del locale con una serie di video, sculture ed edizioni che riflettono le proprie esperienze e ricerche. Juliette Guerin prende spunto dai Tiek's Parties, feste di quartiere organizzate dal centro sociale Saint Gabriel. Le sue opere, ispirate da laboratori collaborativi, esplorano la celebrazione e la condivisione, mettendo in discussione il nostro rapporto con il consumismo e l'estetica popolare. Brontë Scott è interessata alla memoria territoriale. Esplorando archivi e vecchie mappe, scopre che le città di oggi sono costruite su antichi terreni agricoli. La sua installazione, co-costruita con i partecipanti al progetto Tremplins, fa rivivere queste memorie rurali attraverso un approccio sensibile e partecipativo.
