On leur reproche d'attaquer des bateaux et de détruire des filets de pêche. La présence des orques dans les régions côtières crée souvent des tensions, qui se cristallisent autour de la question de la pêche. Pourrait-on apprendre a` vivre avec ces grands prédateurs ? Cette réponse, Rodolphe Guignard va la chercher sur la côte Pacifique Nord, au Canada, en mer de Salish, auprès de la population d'orques la plus menacée au monde. Il se rendra également dans les fjords de Norvège, à 500km au nord du cercle polaire arctique, ou` elles sont les plus abondantes.
