This non-judgmental, beautifully diverse show sharpens critical thinking about the incredible evolution of society in just a few decades: from the pater familias to the homoparental couple, Pères opens the door to ultra-contemporary questions. The ingenious, playful stage set-up resembles a large wall of archives, a sort of school frieze. From a pancake toss to a photo book, the performers tenderly paint a series of portraits. Little by little, a question emerges: how can we imagine fatherhood outside of patriarchy?
