Dans une dystopie où un régime totalitaire entrave tout acte de création et ferme les lieux culturels, un groupe investit clandestinement un studio de tournage pour en faire un refuge de liberté. Se créent alors au plateau deux récits : celui de Pedro, chilien de 9 ans en 1978, et Alicia, française de 13 ans en 1986.
